Fellowship and Leadership Development

OSU supports the development of future ministry leaders through educational partnerships, fellowships, mentoring, and practical ministry experiences.

Programs may include:

  • Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Fellowship Stipends
  • Leadership development initiatives
  • Ministry internships
  • Chaplaincy support and training
  • Professional and spiritual mentoring

The goal is to invest in people who will serve others with competence, compassion, and integrity.

Therapeutic Horticulture and Restoration

OSU believes meaningful work, connection with nature, and community involvement can contribute to healing and growth.

This initiative includes:

  • Therapeutic gardening
  • Horticultural education
  • Veteran engagement
  • Community volunteer opportunities
  • Agricultural and restoration projects

Future plans may include expanded agriculture, livestock, educational programs, and opportunities for participants to develop practical skills while contributing to meaningful work.

The Abraham Initiative

The Abraham Initiative is a character, work, and service development program inspired by the biblical example of Abraham’s household.

The initiative seeks to build teams of dependable men and women who:

  • Develop practical skills
  • Serve their communities
  • Support one another
  • Grow in character and leadership
  • Participate in meaningful vocational opportunities

The long-term vision includes creating pathways for employment, mentorship, service projects, and community impact while supporting the broader mission of OSU.
